First-rate accommodations!  Unit has been updated and the hosts have thought of everything one might need. Living room window is huge and looks on a spectacular view of the ocean.

The home was cozy, exceptionally clean, and well maintained, making it a very comfortable stay. It is pet-friendly, which we truly appreciated. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with organic spices, coffee, and teas—a lovely and welcoming touch. The location was excellent, with Ocean Avenue just 0.3 miles away, offering a great selection of restaurants and shopping. The hot water supply in both the bathrooms and kitchen was immediate and consistent, which was especially appreciated during the winter. Thank you for the helpful guidance throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would be happy to return.

We loved our Thanksgiving week stay at Pacific Oasis! This house is just beautiful, squeaky clean and so comfortable. We felt right at home when we arrived. Alex was great, answered all of my questions quickly, and allowed us to check in a bit early. The house is just as depicted in the pictures. The view from the picture window in the living room is spectacular. We took many walks on the beach which is accessible directly from the house on a path. The house is equipped with most necessities for cooking, a nice variety of spices and foil, plastic wrap, etc. which was very nice! The bedrooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable and  the bathrooms have been beautifully remodeled. The location of the house was great for short trips to Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this place for your next getaway.

We're thrilled we stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend - it was perfect for what we needed and very comfortable. Two points future guests should be aware of: it is a multi-level home so there are lots of small sets of stairs. It wasn't a problem for us but others should be aware. The bigger issue is the driveway which can only be described as treacherous. Our SUV had difficulty navigating it - in perfectly dry conditions. We ultimately chose to park at the top of the driveway and walk up/down. We were a little hesitant to leave the car on the side of the road at the top of the driveway but ultimately concluded it was preferable to navigating such a steep driveway (and we live in the mountains and are use to steep roads). But overall, it was a great house!

The place was very clean and nice. Wished it was a little closer to town but if you don’t mind a little walking, it can be done. Lots of uphill walking on the way back. Great stay. Carmel is a great spot to visit.

A beautiful central location! Super easy to get to downtown and other neighboring towns. The unit is spacious and has beautiful daytime light. Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. Bed was comfy. A restful stay!

The Valley Way house was lovely for our long weekend stay in Carmel with four adults and our dog. The interior of the home and the enclosed yard were perfect for the pooch. Alex and his team provided clear instructions and were very responsive. All good!

We would highly recommend staying at this beautiful house in Carmel. Alex and Jonathan were great hosts and they went out of their way to facilitate a last minute (and late) booking on a Sunday evening. The house is very comfortable and the location is very convenient tp Carmel. We would highly recommend as a great base to explore Carmel and Monterey area.

We had a perfect stay here - walked into town for sights and dining, hiked on nearby trails, and took in a yoga class at a studio Alex recommended. The weather was a little drizzly at times, but that didn't dampen our visit at all. Accommodations were cozy, with a nice outdoor area to sit in when the clouds lifted. Really appreciated having easily accessible laundry, 1 1/2 bathrooms, and everything in the kitchen we could need. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you!

The Airbnb is wonderfully well stocked with excellent amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. There were many luxury touches in the space (such as the bed sheets) and the outdoor space was set up beautifully, with a hammock and spaces for relaxing amongst the humming birds. This is a great quality Airbnb and we appreciated Alex’s flexibility when it came to checking in with a toddler.

We enjoyed wonderful stay! The house was very comfortable, as described and had terrific natural light. The bed inviting, plush and warm for the cool evenings. We also brought our dog for the visit, and the patio area had turf that made his periodic bathroom trips a breeze. In addition to the place itself, the location was a nice 10-15 walk (much of which through a wooded park) to the center of town, or a very brief 3 minute drive. Alex and Team checked in with us periodically, and for the one concern we expressed, were very responsive and thoroughly addressed our issue. Highly recommend.

Looks just like the pictures and AMAZING kitchen! One of the best kitchens of any vacation rental I have ever stayed in - right down to a full spice rack and ziplock bags! The space was sparkling clean and filled with light, amazing houseplant in the living room. I felt very much at home. Another reviewer mentioned it is walkable to Carmel - the distance was completely doable, but after dark the streets in between are poorly lit, with no streetlights and a lot of stretches with no sidewalk (just something to consider, I stayed in the fall when dusk comes early). The hosts were very responsive to my questions. I would recommend this cozy space.

This is one of the nicest Airbnbs I've stayed at.   Beautiful home, very well stocked with supplies, beautiful outside garden, dog-friendly and kid-friendly.  Having the EV car charger was also a major plus.  It's a short 5 min drive into Carmel.  I wouldn't walk because the area is quite hilly.  All in all, my family and I had a lovely stay and we would love to come back.

What a charming and lovely house for a getaway vacation with close friends or family! Everything was just as described, and our host made us feel right at home. The space was quite inviting, comfortable, and well-equipped. In fact, we all slept better there than in our own beds. (Thank you for installing those terrific blackout shades and sleep number mattresses!) Our group loved being all on one level with plenty of room for lounging and connecting. The picturesque outdoor patio space was definitely an added bonus, and perfect for sipping morning coffee, reading a book, or enjoying an evening glass of wine. The location was awesome - unique shops, fine restaurants, and gorgeous coastline were all within walking distance. Highly recommend!

We throughly enjoyed our time in Carmel. This house was in a perfect location. Very close to all the towns attractions but also felt private. Stayed here for an all girls trip and felt extremely safe in this property. The house was in perfect condition and was exactly as described and shown in the photos. We especially loved the fold up chairs available to carry to the beach!

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Del Monte Forest. The house was clean, spacious, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect-peaceful and tucked away, yet close to everything we wanted to see and do in the area. The kitchen was well stocked which made it easy to cook and enjoy meals.  The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, and we slept so well during our stay. Our host, Alex, was welcoming, responsive, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Alex's property is very well located for exploring Carmel and was squeaky clean and extremely well equipped for a visit.  Deserves its excellent ratings!  The house just needs a bit more interior lighting to combat Carmel's overcast days and more comfortable chairs in the enclosed front porch.    Developing the backyard landscaping and comfortable seating as a future project would enhance the property greatly.  Appreciated the off street parking!

great location that's a ten minute walk downtown. Even though this is a one bedroom cottage, you won't feel claustrophobic. ...it's bright, modern, roomy and very airy. great to have a little outdoor space to hang out. Alex was a responsive and friendly host

Highly recommend. We stayed for a few days in August with family and absolutely loved it. The home was beautifully furnished, well stocked, and amenitized. Views and sunset were unreal. Great enclosed outdoor space for the kids. Beds were super comfy. Great location in the community right across the street from additional parking, pool, and sport courts. House provided stuff for pool, beach, pickleball, and basketball. Kitchen was well stocked and loved that everything was labeled. Bunk bed, trundle beds, and loft with a daybed were perfect for our kids. Professionally managed and host was very responsive.

We had a great family and friends trip with small kids at Alex’s place. This home had Beach access, beautiful surroundings and it was an easy house to share with kids. Kitchen was well stocked, had great toys and sports equipment (like several board games, tennis rackets, sand toys, etc), and comfortable beds. Furniture, amenities, bedding all felt very new. We loved it and hope to be back soon!

We were visiting for Monterey Car Week, and this house was a perfect choice. Alex was super responsive and helpful from beginning to end. The house was immaculate, clean and spacious. The backyard was a great place to hang. But most importantly, the location was perfect - super close (walkable) to Carmel downtown, and easy to drive to Monterey, Pebble Beach etc. Highly recommend.

Eric’s apartment is a wonderful spot right in the heart of Monterey. The location made it super easy to get around, and the unit was quiet and relaxing. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, perfect if you want to cook a meal at home. The bathroom is clean and modern, with both a tub and a shower. We really appreciated the comfortable king-size bed, and the small living room area fit us perfectly ... it was cozy but never felt cramped. Eric was a friendly and responsive host, making check-in smooth and stress-free. Overall, this apartment was the ideal home base for exploring Monterey, and we’d happily stay here again!

To say that this is THE place to stay while you're in Carmel, is an understatement! An absolutely beautiful home with all the amenities and a kitchen with things you didn't think you would need. I mean, who thinks of a soda spritzer in a rental? Beautiful landscaping with an outdoor fire pit, running water fountain in the garden, lush foliage, a hammock, and fully fenced in , including the front yard. The attention to detail throughout this home was amazing - from heated bathroom floors and top of the line windows to the extra sheets and blankets in each closet - everything has been carefully thought out to make you feel at home (or better). Alex was extremely responsive and answered within moments. He went above and beyond to help when we missed our flight and allowed for a late checkout to help us regroup.  I highly recommend this home to anyone that finds themselves in Carmel.  Run, don't walk to grab this place the next time you're in town!  I'd rate it and Alex a 10 if I could!!

We had a lovely stay. The house is beautifully located on the beach. The home was spacious and well-stocked with amenities. Both my elderly in-laws and teenage children enjoyed the home. There were a few maintenance issues, but Alex was quick to respond to my messages. The property had a communal pool and sports area, which looked great, but we didn't use them. Monterey is very close by, and we found some great seafood restaurants in Moss Landing and neighboring Castroville. We would definitely stay there again!

This home was exactly what we needed for our large family to vacation in a hypoallergenic space. Very clean. The sleeping arrangements were perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the linens and towels are luxury hotel quality. The kitchen had everything we needed and fun extras. We enjoyed outdoor grilling as well. Easy walk to all restaurants and coffee shops. Walkable beach access. Would highly recommend this beautiful home.

Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in Carmel by the Sea. Alex was an amazing host, and was great with communication. Felt right at home in this beautiful home, and loved the stunning gardens in the front and back yards. Really just a peaceful place, and the bathrooms were so nice and clean.
