A beautiful home in an ideal location.  We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The hosts attention to detail means that we were more than comfortable from moment one. The mature landscaping provided a private garden oasis and the fully stocked kitchen allowed for home cooked meals. We loved being able to walk into Carmel and also being far enough away for peace and quiet. Highly recommend!

This home is recently and beautifully remodeled. Everything in the home is fresh and new, and thoughtfully designed. The grounds are private, with a nice sized backyard that is entirely fenced- perfect for our dogs!  It is close to all Carmel has to offer and a fantastic place to spend time. Wish we had more time there!

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at! The Treehouse looked like it was just beautifully remodeled yesterday and was gorgeous inside. It was also immaculately clean - the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The views out the large windows of the forest and sunset were fantastic. The condo was well appointed with everything you could need and the beds were comfortable. The location is great - very close to downtown Carmel.

Highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to stay in Carmel. Great convenient location in town, private driveway for parking, and kid friendly with a high chair and pack-n-play. Loved this house for our stay with our family. About a 5 minute walk (downhill) to the beach. We felt comfortable in this home immediately when we walked in.

Great Location, Very Clean!
Our family of 4 had a restful stay at Alex's place. Centrally located to all the main attractions like downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Everything we wanted to see was within a short drive. The electric vehicle charger was a huge plus for topping off our car before the drive home.

The house is on a quiet, well-manicured street. The addition of the front gate made for extra privacy. The house was immaculate, one of the cleanest we have stayed in. The kitchen looked well-stocked with cooking essentials but we only used the coffee maker. 

The backyard is beautiful. Too bad we didn't get a chance to enjoy it as it was too cold and a bit rainy. 

I highly recommend Alex's place and would definitely book again whenever we stay in Carmel.

The interior of this condo is so well done. Looks to be brand new, nicely decorated and very clean.

This was a beautiful apartment with two comfortable bedrooms and wonderful showers.  The kitchen was well stocked and wonderful to have during our stay.  The location is perfect and walkable to all the Carmel shops and restaurants.  Our only complaint is that the furniture (sofa, dining room chairs) are not very comfortable for sitting and enjoying the lovely views.

A beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood about a 5-min drive from the Ocean Avenue heartbeat of Carmel. It has a large, well-stocked kitchen in a large open-floorpan room with a dining room table and living room area (with gas fireplace). The primary bedroom is huge, as is its bathroom. The two other bedrooms are decent-sized with a shared bathroom. Absolutely gorgeous gardens - a seating area under a pergola with a gas fire pit , sprawling live oak trees with a hammock, a little fountain, and a garden path with beautiful native plants. So many birds. The house just a few houses up from Route 1, so you do hear that traffic when you're sitting in the garden, but you can't hear it inside the house at all. Beds are super comfy (those sleep number things, with remotes to adjust the firmness). They even had a bathrobe in the primary bath - so great! Alex gave us all the info we needed to make the most of our stay. We had a great stay!

This home is truly one of a kind, the most amazing place I've ever seen. Located in a gated area, it feels incredibly unique and special!

The design is stunning both inside and out. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the patio overlooking the ocean offers the best view I've ever seen. There are multiple fireplaces and cozy seating areas throughout the patio area.

It’s a truly special place, and I’ve stayed in many rural Airbnbs before. I’d give it 6 stars if I could, highly recommended!

The property is very clean, seems super new. We are so thankful there’s a washer and dryer. The water pressure was terrific and the water temperature was hot. We have been to Carmel a few times. This is the best location we have found to date. It is close to all of the shopping and food you would want. It is extremely safe and quaint even late at night. We did not have to leave the area unless we golfed. 

The Peninsula Luxe team was amazing. Excellent communication, very accommodating, and overall a pleasure. The unit was just as we expected and was very nice. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area for a weekend or even longer.

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from Carmel. Easy to follow instructions for getting there, parking, and getting in. The kitchen was well-equipped, which is not often the case, and easy to make meals in. That was very much appreciated.

I didn't need to talk to the hosts at all, which was a good thing. They told me everything that I needed to know, before I needed to know it, and the place had everything that I needed. 

Would definitely stay there again.

WOW. Just WOW. The views are infinite!

Prior to check in, I had a couple of questions for Ari and he responded promptly! Great communication and friendly. Clear instructions and easy to find. Very peaceful and private property. There will be stairs to the front door (5+ steps). House we stayed at is located above the garage. House was clean and comfortable. Goregous views all around. No kitchen. Small fridge and single coffee machine is provided. They even provided a few mugs and 1 gallon of spring water. Shampoo conditioner and hand soap provided. Hosts knew QUALITY from linens to towels provided!

Signal is horrible so youll need to be connected to their wifi to make calls or go online.  I have Tmobile so not sure if Verizon or other carriers may have better signal. 

The balcony where the infinite hot tub is was AMAZING! View on views! The vision for the propery was well thought out. Every detail was spot on from lights to outlets for speakers etc. We'd love to come back!

Perfect place and its location to all the shops, restaurants and beach, couldn’t be better. Alex was absolutely fantastic in assisting us with any questions. Our trip had to be cut short due to unforeseen circumstances and Alex made it a breeze to make such a last minute change. Also the wind had kicked up a lot of leaves and he made sure the landscapers came by to tidy up, of which this was no inconvenience. We will be back.

This beautiful private space is in a truly spectacular location, with views of the Pacific Ocean from every room!  A quick drive up the hill from Highway 1, you can't hear any traffic but you do hear the crash of the ocean waves, so calming and lovely.  The unit is new and pristine, with tasteful elegant furniture and fantastic linens.  There are shades on all windows if needed, or leave them open to capture the view.  Ari was very responsive, answered our questions in minutes, very much appreciated.  A perfect getaway, with Carmel and Big Sur within easy reach for dining. We LOVED it!

We walked down to the town center arts district most days - a little hilly and no sidewalks, but traffic on Torres was minimal and the people we met on our walks were very friendly. No problem getting our steps! Monterey and Pt Lobos were very close- loved the ability to explore so much with minimal driving.

We’ve been fortunate to stay at several other places in the area, including the Post Ranch, and we found ourselves preferring the unparalleled privacy and panoramic vistas offered by Ari’s retreat. The Golden Triangle Home was the absolute perfect location in Carmel By The Sea. It’s two blocks from downtown and just a short walk from Carmel Beach (which I made a routine to walk along the ocean and beach everyday! The house was clean the kitchen is stocked with everything you’d ever need (seriously it’s stocked)!! The beds are a bit too hard for me. The bathroom was nice. The neighborhood so nice, fairly quiet and as a solo traveler I felt very safe walking around both day and evening. The restaurants are awesome and the people are so kind and friendly. I highly recommend breakfast at Rise & Roam, so many evening dining places and wine tasting rooms! A must is renting an e-bike from Maddog and the Englishman and then biking 17 Mile Road, it was a highlight to my vacation. You’ll love this house if location location is important to you. 😊✔️ I’ll certainly be renting this home again.

This beautiful home in Carmel is so lovely, and it was perfect for our 2 week stay. It's super cozy and exceptionally neat & clean. It's stocked with everything one would need and all are in pristine condition. Lots of upgrades and lovely designs. We were steps away from shops & restaurants, and we enjoyed peaceful walks to the beach almost every day. We arrived and checked in very easily and enjoyed a stress free time because the host has everything from instructions to amenities clearly set up. For any minor questions, the host would immediately respond. We're honored to have stayed in such a wonderful place.

Excellent location, easy walking distance to great places to eat, shop and the beach!  We love Carmel and Alex's place fits right in with everything that is magical there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dolores House. I had never stayed in Carmel-by-the-Sea before, and I am really glad I did. The house is in the perfect location to explore everything. Short walking distance to Ocean Ave, to the beach, and to be able to just explore the lovely architecture. Carmel is a special place, and it was nice to be here to just slow down and relax. You can even hear the ocean from the house, and the space is light and airy. The landscaping is nice with beautiful old trees and flowers. The recent remodel was very tastefully done, I loved the kitchen and the stove. The house has everything we needed plus a few fun surprises. Everything was very classy. The vibe here is very relaxed, and the decor is just enough to make you feel comfortable without overwhelming the space. The couches are great for napping, and the house is clean and the beds are comfortable. The fireplace makes the living room very cozy. I appreciated that there were no scented products in the house, and even the laundry detergent was scent free. Oftentimes airbnb’s are overloaded with scented products, but this house is clean and the indoor air is fresh. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it twice! Alex was very helpful with everything and very professional and kind. I would definitely stay here again and at any of his other properties as well!
