First-rate accommodations!  Unit has been updated and the hosts have thought of everything one might need. Living room window is huge and looks on a spectacular view of the ocean.

The home was cozy, exceptionally clean, and well maintained, making it a very comfortable stay. It is pet-friendly, which we truly appreciated. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with organic spices, coffee, and teas—a lovely and welcoming touch.<br/>The location was excellent, with Ocean Avenue just 0.3 miles away, offering a great selection of restaurants and shopping. The hot water supply in both the bathrooms and kitchen was immediate and consistent, which was especially appreciated during the winter.<br/>Thank you for the helpful guidance throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would be happy to return.

Alex's place was peaceful, beautiful and pristine. The house is one of a kind with beautiful bathrooms and lovely windows to see the amazing view outside! Kitchen + bathroom products were well stocked. The space is well taken care of. Thank you so much Alex - we will be back!

We loved our Thanksgiving week stay at Pacific Oasis! This house is just beautiful, squeaky clean and so comfortable. We felt right at home when we arrived. Alex was great, answered all of my questions quickly, and allowed us to check in a bit early. The house is just as depicted in the pictures. The view from the picture window in the living room is spectacular. We took many walks on the beach which is accessible directly from the house on a path. The house is equipped with most necessities for cooking, a nice variety of spices and foil, plastic wrap, etc. which was very nice! The bedrooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable and  the bathrooms have been beautifully remodeled. The location of the house was great for short trips to Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this place for your next getaway.

The place was very clean and nice. Wished it was a little closer to town but if you don’t mind a little walking, it can be done. Lots of uphill walking on the way back. Great stay. Carmel is a great spot to visit.

Peninsula Luxe

We had a perfect stay here - walked into town for sights and dining, hiked on nearby trails, and took in a yoga class at a studio Alex recommended. The weather was a little drizzly at times, but that didn't dampen our visit at all. Accommodations were cozy, with a nice outdoor area to sit in when the clouds lifted. Really appreciated having easily accessible laundry, 1 1/2 bathrooms, and everything in the kitchen we could need. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you!

We enjoyed wonderful stay!   The house was very comfortable, as described and had terrific natural light.   The bed inviting, plush and warm for the cool evenings.  We also brought our dog for the visit, and the patio area had turf that made his periodic bathroom trips a breeze.   In addition to the place itself, the location was a nice 10-15 walk (much of which through a wooded park) to the center of town, or a very brief 3 minute drive.   <br/>Alex and Team checked in with us periodically, and for the one concern we expressed, were very responsive and thoroughly addressed our issue.<br/>Highly recommend.

Looks just like the pictures and AMAZING kitchen! One of the best kitchens of any vacation rental I have ever stayed in - right down to a full spice rack and ziplock bags! The space was sparkling clean and filled with light, amazing houseplant in the living room. I felt very much at home. Another reviewer mentioned it is walkable to Carmel - the distance was completely doable, but after dark the streets in between are poorly lit, with no streetlights and a lot of stretches with no sidewalk (just something to consider, I stayed in the fall when dusk comes early). The hosts were very responsive to my questions. I would recommend this cozy space.

What a charming and lovely house for a getaway vacation with close friends or family!  Everything was just as described, and our host made us feel right at home.  The space was quite inviting, comfortable, and well-equipped.  In fact, we all slept better there than in our own beds.  (Thank you for installing those terrific blackout shades and sleep number mattresses!)  <br/>Our group loved being all on one level with plenty of room for lounging and connecting.  The picturesque outdoor patio space was definitely an added bonus, and perfect for sipping morning coffee, reading a book, or enjoying an evening glass of wine.  <br/>The location was awesome - unique shops,  fine restaurants, and gorgeous coastline were all within walking distance.  Highly recommend!

We would highly recommend staying at this beautiful house in Carmel. Alex and Jonathan were great hosts and they went out of their way to facilitate a last minute (and late) booking on a Sunday evening. The house is very comfortable and the location is very convenient tp Carmel. We would highly recommend as a great base to explore Carmel and Monterey area.

The Airbnb is wonderfully well stocked with excellent amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. There were many luxury touches in the space (such as the bed sheets) and the outdoor space was set up beautifully, with a hammock and spaces for relaxing amongst the humming birds. This is a great quality Airbnb and we appreciated Alex’s flexibility when it came to checking in with a toddler.
